Not exactly a positive kick off for European stocks this morning-DAX leads opening downside
The European stock markets have just reopened for live trading and it has not exactly been a positive start to the session. The DAX is just now falling back below 19,800 and hence below where it closed on Monday. The FTSE 100 and CAC 40 are lower too. The push lower comes as US stock futures slip further. The news flow is extremely light right now, so there is nothing to really attach to this in that respect. Perhaps it is some early year-end window dressing leading to profit-taking ahead of the New Year? The DAX is currently trading around 19,810
