No traction yet for the Nasdaq 100
The Nasdaq 100 did not reopen higher today. The index resumed live trading at 15,469 after closing on Friday at 15,529. The low seen so far this afternoon has been set at 15,404. It has bounced off that low now, but the overall price action is suggestive of further profit-taking after what was a strong end to the week on Friday. That profit-taking could be due to the proximity of the US CPI report due out tomorrow. Also to note here; that US Treasury bond yields are higher this afternoon and that might have had an impact on trading so far. The Nasdaq 100 is currently trading at 15,450
