No sign of any rebound for the GBP/USD- Pound sets fresh session lows at 1.3060

The dollar was the best performing major currency on Friday and no wonder, because the US September Jobs data ensured a really positive weekly close for the US currency. The Pound was very much caught up in that dollar rebound too and so the GBP/USD fell back with the EUR/USD. However, despite falling below 1.31 the GBP/USD closed in the US on Friday at 1.3122. Earlier today the Pound topped out at 1.3134 and since then it has been one-way traffic lower for the GBP/USD today. The pound is currently camped pretty close to session lows, now at 1.3060 right now. The lack of any rebound in the GBP/USD comes as the EUR/GBP pushes higher at the same time as the EUR/USD remains under significant pressure too. Hence the GBP/USD is the pair that seems the most unloved of all tight now. The GBP/USD is currently trading at 1.3061
