No rebound yet for the Dow Jones as losses mount
The lower opening for the US stock markets this afternoon did see the likes of the S+P 500 and Nasdaq 100 attempt to recoil from their lower starts, but that has not lasted for very long at all and in real terms the rebounds, such as they were not nothing special. Well, now some 20 minutes into the session and the markets are heading lower again and that has seen the Dow Jones fall by nearly 550 points. The index reopened today at 38,906. The high seen was exactly that opening level and so it never managed to bounce yet at all. The index low is just now at 38,586, and it is not far off that right now, currently trading at 38,589
