No rebound of note this time for the DAX into the close
As noted here yesterday afternoon, the DAX was very unlikely to launch another rebound above its 200 day moving average into the close and that is how it played out. The index did lift from a session low at 15,329 and later closed that session at 15,405, but with a loss of 151 points on the day. The 200 day moving average was in place then at 15,553. So, as you can see, the close was some way adrift of that level. The DAX futures are currently lower this morning, as US futures fall back following a mostly red session in Asia today. The DAX future is currently pricing the reopening today at around 15,355
