No new records for the Nasdaq 100 on Friday
The Nasdaq 100 was the weakest of the three main US stock market indexes on Friday. The Nasdaq closed 159 points lower, at 17,685. That 0.90% loss on the session compared to a fall of 0.48% for the S+P 500 and 0.37% for the Dow Jones. The index will not reopen today due to the Presidents Day holiday, but the Nasdaq 100 futures are trading this morning and right now they are not indicating a lower opening for tomorrow. The index is priced to open slightly higher, as the European markets prepare to kick off the new week. The Nasdaq 100 futures are just now pricing a Tuesday opening at around 17,695
