No new record for the Nasdaq 100 last night but futures rebound this morning

Yesterday the US stock markets did not set any new records by the close. That said it was not much of a reversal from the closing levels set the night before. The Nasdaq 100 closed just 13 points lower, at 19,021. As a point of reference, the hottest stock on the plant- NVIDIA closed lower last night too, ending the day $14.42 lower, at $1,209.98. So, if you are looking for reasons why there was no fresh records for the Nasdaq 100, then look no further than that. Overnight the Asian markets are mostly modestly lower, but that is more a catch-up with the US closes, because the Nasdaq 100 futures are higher this morning and currently indicating a reopening at around 19,055
