Nikkei 225 futures point to new record opening tomorrow as European stocks close higher
The European stock markets are just now drawing to what is a series of higher closes, helped by more upside in the US markets so far today. At the same time, the Nikkei 225 futures are indicating a record opening for the Japanese benchmark index tomorrow. The index came close to reaching 42k for the first time ever today. The index later posted a record close at 41,831. The new all time high seen today was set at 41,889. The Nikkei futures are right now pricing the opening for tomorrow at around 42,325
