Nikkei 225 futures leading US and European stocks lower now- DAX falling back again
Since the US opening this afternoon the Nikkei 225 has been underwater and that is now seemingly dragging both the European and US stock markets lower. The DAX and the FTSE are clearly at risk of a lower close now today. Earlier the DAX did fall briefly below 23,450, but it did not stay down there for long and the higher US opening helped it to rebound back above 23,600. Well, that was then and this is now and the index has fallen back below 23,500 again. Clearly it is not far off the earlier session low now (23,444) and if that gets taken out then it would be a surprise if the index can avoid a lower close today. The DAX is right now at 23,490
