Next up UK services PMI revision at 8.30am GMT- no rebound yet for the GBP/USD

Now that all the European service sector PMI revisions have been and gone next up comes the same from the UK, at 8.30am GMT. The service sector in the UK is by some margin the most important in terms of assessing the economy and that is because services in the UK account for the largest share of GDP and far more than most major economies. So, it is important data this morning, but only if we get a significant revision. More usually the UK flash estimate is pretty accurate, when compared to its peers, but that is not to preclude a significant revision today-we shall soon see on that. Meantime, the Pound is languishing near session lows, as it dips underneath 1.3150 just now. The EUR/GBP is higher again too following an update here earlier on that. The comments from the BOE governor earlier today have delivered this and it remains to be seen, if this PMI data can help to counter that for the Pound. The GBP/USD is currently trading at 1.3144
