Next up UK PMI data at 8.30am GMT- Will it bother the GBP/USD?

At 8.30am GMT we will get the same flash UK PMI data we had earlier from France and Germany and the EU. The markets are expecting the UK services and Manufacturing readings to decline. The service sector index is forecast to fall to around 51.5 from a prior reading of 52.5. Manufacturing is forecast to fall to 44 from 44.9. Of course the service sector is the most important for the UK economy and the Pound. That all said, these are flash readings and very much impacted by the latest news stemming from US, that you know about already. So, in that sense the markets might overlook whatever emerges here, but we shall have to see about that. Since the last update here, the GBP/USD did push a little higher, reaching 1.3328, but it has backed down from that high just now. There might be more to add once the data lands at 8.30am GMT. The GBP/USD is right now at 1.3308
