New records abound today for the S+P 500 and the Dow Jones
Whilst noting the US stock markets were continuing to diverge away from those here in Europe again today in the previous update, it should be noted that we are seeing fresh record highs just now for the Dow Jones and the S+P 500 indexes. The Dow Jones has now lifted above risen above 40,300 after setting a record close on Friday, at 40,000. The S+P 500 is pushing past the record highs seen on Friday too. The index is just now rising above 5,655 to above 5,660. The gains in the US stock markets today come amid further respected reports from leading Wall Street insiders forecasting at least 2 rate cuts from the Fed this year and that is helping to underpin what is already a record breaking bull run for the US stock markets this year
