Netflix results push Nasdaq 100 futures to the front

As noted here earlier this morning, the Nasdaq 100 was the worst performing major US stock market index yesterday. That said it still managed to post a higher close. The Nasdaq gained 125 points, when closing 0.58% higher, at 21,566. Well, since the US closing bell the scene is somewhat different this morning. That is because the Q4 results from Netflix really knocked it out of the park in terms of adding new subscribers in the final 3 months of last year and that has seen the share price surge by around 15% in the grey market since the US close. That in turn has lifted the Nasdaq 100 futures and ensure they have ignored the losses across the Chinese markets today. So, right now the Nasdaq 100 is pricing an opening later today above 21,700
