Nasdaq futures higher this morning after Tesla and NVIDIA lead the gains on Friday
The Nasdaq 100 was the best performing major US stock market index by the close on Friday. The index put on 1.67%, gaining 350 points on the session, closing the week at 21,326. That gain compared to 1.26% for the S+P 500 and 0.80% for the Dow Jones. The Nasdaq 100 was pushed to the front by leading gains in Arm Holdings (+10.5%), Tesla (+8.22%) and NVIDIA (+4.45%) and given the market cap of NVDA, the standout gains for the Nasdaq 100 were almost guaranteed. The index futures are higher this morning too and right now the index is priced to reopen close to 21,375, but of course that outlook could chop and change many times before live trading resumes this afternoon
