Nasdaq 100 wastes no time in unwinding opening gains
The Nasdaq 100 reopened higher today at 18,338. The high seen was set at 18,344. The index closed last night at 18,210. However, since that opening, the index has tailed off pretty steeply and fallen back towards that prior close. Now this might yet be just a technical move to test the close last night. That needs confirmation from here, as it has not yet taken out that level. The low seen so far has been set at 18,221. So with the Dow Jones still on the front foot (but yet to tackle the noted 39,620 level yet- 39,609 the high so far), this could be little more than rotation between the two sectors at this early stage in the session. The Nasdaq 100 is currently trading at 18,221
