Nasdaq 100 unable to sustain gains above 20,500 yesterday

Yesterday the Nasdaq 100 set a new all time record high at 20,543, after reopening for the first time ever above 20,500 (20,504). However, it was not able to sustain the move and fell back to a session low at 20,395. it did rebound into the close though and later avoided a lower end to the session, but only just. The index closed 13 points higher, at 20,453. That close came despite a better performance from NVDA yesterday. The share price gained 3.18%. The Nasdaq 100 futures are a little higher this morning though, once again in contrast to that right now seen on the Dow Jones. The Nasdaq 100 is currently priced to reopen later today at around 20,480
