Nasdaq 100 takes the lead on the downside now as Tesla awaits tonight

Since the US stock markets reopened this afternoon, the Dow Jones has now rebounded off its lows, but the Nasdaq 100 is faring less well just now. The index was performing better on the opening, but as this update is typed it is just about the worst performing major index. The Nasdaq 100 has taken a look below the 20,200 handle today after opening at 20,303 and it is not that much above that low right now. The index will just have closed this evening when the eagerly awaited Q3 results from Tesla (TSLA) hit the screens, at 8.10pm GMT. Quick News will be on hand to report on those numbers when they hit the screens. The market expectation on that was noted here earlier today, but to repeat that; the markets expect Q3 revenue of $25.34 billion and an EPS of just $0.58. Tesla is ranked seventh by weight in the Nasdaq 100 and the index is currently trading at 20,235
