Nasdaq 100 sets new all time record high at 16,772 on opening
The US stock markets have just reopened and it has been a very positive start for the tech sector and the Nasdaq 100. The index has just lifted above the all time high, matched yesterday at 16,764. The new record high set on the opening was at 16,772 and it is not far removed from that high just now. Obviously in the current mood it would be crazy to rule out further upside from here on this afternoon. However, of course that is never guaranteed and it might be worth keeping an eye on the wider US markets for clues
