Nasdaq 100 reaches 18k for the first time ever
Well, not long after the ink was dry on the previous update, now the Nasdaq 100 has made history this afternoon by reaching that 18,000 level. The high print just now was set at 18,003. Now of course this is a huge moment for the index and it is possible that profit-taking might kick in around this price point. It will also be interesting to see how far it might extend from here and whether or not there is enough momentum to see it post a daily close above 18k this evening. The index is just now trading at 18,001
