Nasdaq 100 powers ahead to set new records as US yields slip

The Nasdaq 100 has wasted no time in making further progress this afternoon, after the weaker than expected US ISM data endorsed the outlook for tech stocks to remain in demand. The drop back in US yields has merely served to underpin the move to a new all time record this afternoon. The Nasdaq 100 has now traded above 18,150. The gains in US tech seemed to have rescued the DAX from a potential outside day reversal too, as that index now rebounds from earlier lows ahead of the ISM report. The Nasdaq 100 is also leading the S+P 500 to fresh records too and also reversing the earlier losses in the Dow Jones. The Nasdaq 100 has set a new all time record high  a short while ago, at 18,154. It is just now trading at 18,135
