Nasdaq 100 poised for a new all time high today?

Earlier today the Nasdaq 100 futures were pricing the reopening at record levels above 16,764. They have since backed off from that high and currently pricing the opening below that record level. The index closed last night at 16,729 after exactly matching the record it set on November 22, 2021. It certainly looks poised to have another go at the level, when the index reopens in just over 30 minutes. The Dow Jones futures are higher now too and not far off pricing a reopening at, or just below 37,400. So, the charge higher in US stocks looks set to continue this afternoon, fuelled by the really surprising comments from the Fed boss, Jerome Powell last week. The Nasdaq 100 is currently priced to reopen at around 16,750
