Nasdaq 100 pares opening losses ahead of Powell and JOLTS
The US stock markets have just reopened and it was a lower start to the session. The Nasdaq 100 closed last night at 19,812 and resumed live trading at 19,746. It has traded above 19,800 since then and it is currently still trying to beat off that lower opening. The US Fed boss, Jerome Powell is due to speak shortly at a symposium in Sintra, Portugal. It remains to be seen what Powell might have to say and also we have the US JOLTS- job openings at 2pm GMT. The Nasdaq 100 is currently trading at 19,810. Powell has just begun to speak
