Nasdaq 100 opens slightly in the red

The US stock market futures were pointing to higher openings today, but since the news from South Korea has impacted the wider markets that opening has been not so positive. That said, we are not talking about significant moves across any of the US stock markets. Perhaps more so just taking the edge off, what would have been a positive start to the session, given the records seen in the Nasdaq 100 and the S+P 500 yesterday. So, the Nasdaq 100 has just reopened at 21,106. The index had closed last night at 21,164 and has just hit a session low at 21,081. The US JOLTS- Job openings data will be released shortly, at 3pm GMT and that might have an impact as the afternoon unfolds. A report on that will follow here once the data is known. Meantime, the Nasdaq 100 is currently trading at 21,135
