The US stock markets have literally just reopened ( earlier than usual now due to the US clock change) and it has been a lower start to the day. That was no surprise of course owing to the lower futures prices today. The Nasdaq 100 closed on Friday 18,018, with a loss of 279 points on the day. It has just this minute reopened at 17,959. The technically negative close on the index, noted here much earlier this morning has surely played a role in that lower opening, but it remains to be seen just how many professional traders will pay attention to that (as indeed they should). There are going to be some swings for sure today and right now the downside has the ball it seems. The index is right now trading at 17,905
