Nasdaq 100 opens lower
Well, it is hardly the surprise of the day, but the Nasdaq 100 has just this minute reopened and it has been a lower start of the day for the tech index. The Nasdaq 100 closed last night at 17,985 and it has just officially reopened at 17,902. It was earlier priced to reopen lower than that though, but more recent upside moves in the futures helped it higher than might have been the case. That said, the price action is by no means certain and as usual we probably get a fair bit of two-way jostling until it might iron out a more decisive direction. It is also worth keeping a very close eye on the share price of NVIDIA right now too, because that is still a major driver for the index. The Nasdaq 100 is currently trading at 17,890
