Nasdaq 100 once again the worst performer on Wall Street

By the close last night on Wall Street it was once again the Nasdaq 100 that significantly underperformed. The index handed back 1.21%, where the Dow Jones managed to avoid a lower close. The Nasdaq was led lower by a more than 10% fall in Palantir, as the fear of more DOGE led cutbacks would significantly impact revenue, due to its reliance in government contracts. Other leading losers on the day included CrowdStrike, Broadcom and NVIDIA. The latter perhaps due to the proximity for their results tomorrow evening. So, the Nasdaq 100 closed 262 points lower, at 21,352. That close was not much above its lows of the day, at 21,341. Earlier in the session the Nasdaq 100 had peaked at 21,727. The Asian markets are all in the red this morning and that has stunted any rebound in the Nasdaq 100 futures. They are currently pricing the opening for later today at around 21,360
