Nasdaq 100 now outperforming as it holds opening gains
The previous update noted how the Dow Jones had closed on Friday at 44,403. That was actually a typo. The index actually closed at 44,303 -apologies. The initial opening moves saw it rise to 44,622 Well, it has not stayed up there for very long and right now it is reversing lower again and as usual the price action is pretty fast and furious. The index has now dropped back towards and underneath 44,400. At the same time the Nasdaq 100 also opened higher today, commencing live trade at 21,670. The index closed on Friday at 21,491. The Nasdaq 100 is right now holding up much better than the Dow Jones, after reaching a high at 21,687. It is currently trading at 21,685
