Nasdaq 100 looks like it has an appointment with 18k this afternoon
Well, it is hardly the most astute observation of the day, but the Nasdaq 100 looks like it has a move below 18k on the cards this afternoon. Even as the Dow Jones tried to rebound a few minutes ago, the Nasdaq 100 did not really join that effort and now it is very close to session lows as this update is written and it looks like an imminent fall below 18k is about to unfold. That might not happen of course, but it has come very close a few seconds ago. The index is out of favour now for a number of reasons as the markets really starts to re-think its big tech positions. The noted fall in Tesla today is leading that thought process too. The index is currently trading at 18,015
