Nasdaq 100 leads the way lower on the US opening

The US stock markets have just now reopened for live trading and it has been an across the board lower start to the day, The immediate opening losses were led once again by the Nasdaq 100 and that pushed the S+P 500 down below the 5,600 on the opening. The Nasdaq 100 reopened today, some 66 points lower, at 19,450. The low seen so far has been set at 19,406, but trading is fluid out there ahead of those US data releases due at 2pm GMT- US consumer confidence and the Richmond Fed index. The Nasdaq 100 is currently trading at 19,408
