Nasdaq 100 leads US stocks to a one-dimensional close
Last night was the first one-dimensional close for the major US stock market indexes. That is to say they all ended the session modestly in the green, which has been something of a rarity for many sessions now. The Nasdaq 100 was the best performing index in points and percentage terms. The index closed 49 points higher, at 19,751. However, the losses across the Asian markets today have sent all the US futures lower this morning and the Nasdaq is currently set for a lower opening later today. The immediate indication on that (subject to change) is right now at around 19,675
