Nasdaq 100 leads US stock market gains- futures in the green this morning

Yesterday the charge higher in the US stock markets did not abate all the way into the close. The standout best performing index was the Nasdaq 100. That index gained 2.31%, compared to a rise of 1.83% in the S+P 500 and 1.65% in the Dow Jones. The gains were pretty broad-based in the Nasdaq and led by many of the usual suspects, with the standout winner being Tesla (TSLA), which put on 8.04% yesterday. Overnight those solid gains have not been replicated across the Asian markets. The Nasdaq 100 closed last night at 21,237, with a gain of 480 points on the session. The Nasdaq 100 futures are a little higher this morning, but not by that much at this stage, as the markets seem to consolidate what was a very positive close last night. The Nasdaq 100 is currently priced to reopen around 21,270
