Nasdaq 100 leads opening US losses

The US stock markets have just reopened for live trading and all three major indexes are kicking off in the red. The losses have been led by the tech sector in general and by chip stocks in particular. It had been mostly that way inclined all morning across the US futures and that has been transposed into the opening moves this afternoon. So, the Nasdaq 100 is leading the way lower in opening trade. The index just opened at 20,231 after closing last night at 20,628. The index is currently trading at 20,220
