The US stock markets all stalled into the close last night and all three major indexes ended the session ever so slightly in the red. The Nasdaq 100 was actually the worst performer in percentage terms, with a 0.36% decline on the day. However, earlier in the session it was quite a bit lower than that, when it fell back to as low as 14,584 after reopening at 14,769. The index closed 53 points lower, at 14,723. Overnight the price action has been tight in the futures, but right now those are pricing a lower opening. The mainland Chinese markets are still closed and the very modest downside in US futures comes despite a gain of more than 1.5% in the Hang Seng. The Nasdaq 100 is clearly not taking any chances with whatever the US monthly jobs report has to reveal later today. The index future is just now pricing a reopening at around 14,700
