The US stock markets have just reopened for what is actually the final live trading session of the week. Tomorrow is not a Federal holiday so banks and FX will not be impacted. However, contrary to what was noted here earlier, the NYSE is actually closed tomorrow so there will be no live trading in the major US stock markets. First thing tomorrow morning we will look at how the US futures might be trading ahead of the weekend. So, the opening price action has seen underperformance in the Dow Jones and outperformance in the Nasdaq 100. The Dow Jones is pushing the S+P 500 lower, where the Nasdaq 100 is adding some support, but it remains to be seen which will out. Hence, the S+P 500 is right now caught in the middle and not least because UNH is quoted on the S+P and the Dow. So, the Nasdaq 100 was priced to open above 18,500 earlier. It has just kicked off trading below 18,400. It is right now falling back in early trade, currently at 18,345
