Nasdaq 100 leads early US gains
The US stock markets have been open for around 20 minutes now and it has been a higher opening, but that was hardly a surprise given the gains in the US futures beforehand. The tech sector and the Nasdaq 100 have led the early gains in percentage terms and that saw the index reopen today at 18,331. That was even higher than at the time of the last update here on its progress and likely opening level. The index closed last night at 18,160. It has traded to a session high so far at 18,362, It is off that high now though, currently trading at 18,328
