Nasdaq 100 kicks off Q2 only slightly higher

As mentioned here earlier, the Nasdaq 100 posted a record monthly and quarterly close on Thursday, at 18,254.69. The index has just reopened, to kick off the new quarter and it has been a slightly higher opening and certainly well shy of the earlier futures price indicative high and all time record the index reached last month. That was set at 18,464 on March 21. The Nasdaq 100 just resumed live trade at 18,280.82. It is perhaps understandable, given the records last month; that it should trade somewhat cautiously on the opening today, given the rebound in US bond yields right now and that looming ISM index due to be released shortly, at 3pm GMT.
