Nasdaq 100 getting closer to a new record

Yesterday the Nasdaq 100 closed at 20,227. The index has just this minutes officially reopened at 20,571 and that is a new record start for the index. The all time high was set on July 10, at 20,690 and the reader has been repeatedly reminded of that level. So, with the index pushing towards that level right now, it seems to be entirely on the radar this afternoon. Of course there is no guarantee the index will set a new record today, but to be honest the odds on that looks very short indeed and would be a surprise if we do not see the index not trade above 20,690 at some point today. The Nasdaq 100 is right now trading at 20,670
