Nasdaq 100 futures unimpressed with modest big tech beats

As reported here yesterday evening, the modestly better results from Microsoft and Meta did not impress the Nasdaq 100 futures. The index had closed lower anyway, ending the US session just ahead of those earnings reports, at 20,387, with a loss of 162 points on the day. The impact of those reports did not help the futures gain any ground, as reported here at the time and this morning the index is further in the red. However, the index is not alone, because all the US index futures are in the same boat this morning. There are more tech titans reporting after the closing bell again this evening. We get earnings from Apple and Amazon tonight and more detail will follow here on what is expected later this morning.
