Nasdaq 100 futures turn further into red now and here is the reason why

Since an earlier update here this morning, the US equity futures have all turned lower. The main reason for this could be an article said to focus on the US department of justice looking at a potential breakup of Alphabet (GOOGL) search engine based on accusations focused around antitrust measures. That news is still very fluid though, but the for time being it has dented the opening outlook for GOOGL and the Nasdaq 100 as a whole. It was noted here yesterday; that the Nasdaq 100 may be weatherproof, but it sure is not DOJ proof folks! In terms of that US Weather outlook, the prospect of Hurricane Milton wreaking catastrophic damage is still something to note when looking at the broader US stock markets later today.
