Nasdaq 100 futures still in the red as ISM awaits

The US stock markets will soon reopen for live trade and ahead of that opening the Nasdaq 100 futures are still in the red this afternoon. Even after the opening there is something which could shift any prior directional momentum. As noted here earlier today, that is the release of the November service sector ISM index. The headline number is expected to rise slightly, to 52, from a prior reading of 51.8. Outside of the headline number itself there are other components; new orders, employment and prices paid, all of which can affect the market reaction to the overall report. The Nasdaq 100, along with the other major stock market indexes will react to any real surprises here, as will the dollar. Ahead of that the Nasdaq 100 future is pricing a reopening at around 15,770 after closing last night at 15,839
