Nasdaq 100 futures slip back- Not so certain to kick off above 20k now

As the morning has given way to the afternoon and the latest US economic data has been and gone, the dollar has brushed off the rather disappointing Philadelphia Fed index numbers and advanced further versus the Yen. At the same time the US equity futures have given back much of their earlier gains. That had seen the Nasdaq 100 priced to reopen above 20,085 at one point, which would have been a new record for the index above the current one at 19,977. Well, right now the index is priced to reopen well below that and below the 20k level too. That might change in the next 25 minutes or so, but right now it remains in the balance, as to whether or not the index will reopen above 20k. The Nasdaq 100 is right now priced to reopen around 19,980
