The Nasdaq 100 reached its best levels of the week, when it reached 19,556 on Friday. It later closed at 19,514, with a gain of 91 points on the day. That 0.47% rise compared to 0.72% for the Dow Jones and 0.54% for the S+P 500. At this point the reader is reminded; that despite enjoying a good week, the index is still some way south of the record it reached on July 10, at 20,690.
