Nasdaq 100 futures in the red this morning

Right now the Nasdaq 100 futures are not far off session lows. Yesterday the Nasdaq 100 performed quite well in relative terms and matched the leading gains in the S+P 500, with both closing 0.57% higher on the day. The Nasdaq 100 closed 118 points higher, at 20,922 after peaking at 20,944. So despite performing quite well, the index did not threaten the 21k handle and it did not of course, come close to the current 2024 record high, at 21,182. Much earlier today, during the Asian session the Nasdaq 100 futures were pricing a slightly higher opening, close to 20,950, but since then and the European opening, that has given way to some downside and right now the index is set to open lower this afternoon. Of course this can soon change, but the negative price action across the European markets this morning has clearly weighed on the opening outlook. That its currently at around 20,845
