Nasdaq 100 futures in the red this morning

Yesterday the standout underacheiver amongst the major US equity indexes was the nasdaq 100. As noted here earlier in the day, it was the rebound in US yields that really dented the upside for the index and it remained that way into the close last night. The Nasdaq 100 ended the session just 4 points higher, at 15,817. The index future is lower this morning after that disappointment it seems and struggling for traction even with a generally positive outlook for the European markets. However, what is also clear, when it comes to the global equity markets right now; is that it is not one size fits all when it comes to relative performance. That is well demonstrated by the FTSE and the DAX this morning. The DAX futures are just now pricing a reopening at around 15,790
