The impact of the technically negative close for the S+P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 indexes on Friday did ensure further falls yesterday. However, by the close much of the earlier session losses in both indexes were recovered, despite another day of losses for NVIDIA. So, The Nasdaq 100, which had reopened yesterday at 17,959, fell to a session low at 17,873. The price action that followed saw it resist further downside and it did briefly rise back above the 18k handle, before later closing at 17,951, with a loss of just 66 points on the session. That noted rebound in Hong Kong today has helped to lift the futures prices this morning though. The Right now the Nasdaq 100 is priced to reopen at around 18,065, but it is far from certain that is where it will be when live trading resumes later today
