It was another mixed US equity market session that kicked the new month off yesterday. The Dow Jones closed slightly lower, but the gains in the Nasdaq 100 prevented the S+P 500 from following suit. The Nasdaq 100 had closed the month and the quarter on Friday at 14,715. Yesterday, the index rose to as high as 14,892, before handing some of those gains back, to close at 14,837, with a gain of 122 points on the day. However, this morning the Nasdaq 100 futures are in the red, as are the Dow Jones and S+P 500 futures too. The combination of higher rates and a firmer dollar is once again adding some downside pressure so far this morning. The Nasdaq 100 futures are currently pricing the opening at around 14,790
