Nasdaq 100 futures leading the way heading into the US opening
The US stock markets are broadly heading for a higher opening this afternoon. That is with the exception of the Dow Jones, where the futures are still slightly in the red. Not so the S+P 500 though. That index is currently pricing a reopening at, or above 5,830. The S+P 500 is being buoyed right now by leading gains in the Nasdaq 100 futures. They are currently pricing the opening at around 20,380. The index closed on Friday at 20,271, with a gain of just 30 points on the session.
