Nasdaq 100 futures just not buying into it

As mentioned a few times already today, the Nasdaq 100 was not able to make much progress yesterday. The index tried and failed to get above 15,850, but it did recover from an earlier low at 15,738. The index had earlier reopened at 15,765, following a previous close at 15,817. The index later closed at 15,833, with a gain of just 16 points. The outlook so far today has been rather uncertain. The index futures have essentially traded in a range covered by 15,800 to 15,850 since the US close last night. The rebound in US treasury yields noted in the previous two updates is probably having a negative impact on the opening outlook too. Hence, even as the Dow futures have made gains so far today, the same cannot be said of the Nasdaq 100 futures, currently pricing a basically unchanged reopening in around 25 minutes
