Nasdaq 100 futures indicate a potential record opening above 19,700

Right now the Nasdaq 100 futures are pricing a reopening at potentially above 19,700 later this afternoon. It was noted here on Friday; that the US tech index was undaunted by the losses here in Europe and continued to attract investment flows, even if the wider US markets were not so hot. The observation that there was an element of haven flow into tech was surely at play too. So, the Nasdaq 100 reached a new all time high at 19,664 and later closed 82 points higher on the day, at 19,659. So, of course that was a new record daily and weekly close for the index. The rebound here in Europe this morning is not hindering the Nasdaq futures either.
