Nasdaq 100 futures higher this morning after mixed US tech earnings

Yesterday evening the 4 major tech companies delivered their Q4 earnings reports. For the most part those were not that impressive, especially Tesla (TSLA), which missed on the top and bottom line. The share price initially slumped by more than 8% on the back of that, only to subsequently rise by 4%, after Elon Musk came out and soothed the markets with assurances for future performance. The results from Microsoft were a modest beat and it was a better one for Meta. The upshot of all this, is the Nasdaq 100 futures have gained now this morning. The index closed last night at 21,411, with a loss of just 51 points on the day. The futures did fall, as TSLA initially got slammed. However, since then the index has gone from pricing an opening for today near 21,250, to above 21,550. It is right now pricing it around 21,510
